Baked Fish Casserole

Recipe Ingredients
1 lb. fish fillets (walleye or lake perch)
1 med. green peppers

1 sm. chopped onion
2 c. buttered bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste

BASIC WHITE SAUCE:
3 tbsp. flour

2 tbsp. butter

1 1/2 c. milk

Directions

Drain fish well on paper towels. Grease baking dish (8 inch square). Lay fish in bottom. Sprinkle with chopped green pepper and onion, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour white sauce over fish. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350º F, 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Wonderful, even to non fish lovers.
