2 c. flour
2 c. fresh Michigan apples coarsely chopped
2/3 c. brown sugar packed
1/2 c. Michigan apple cider
1/4 c. apple sauce
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 c. dried Michigan cherries
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 t. nutmeg
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. salt
Combine apple sauce, apple cider, and brown sugar.
Add eggs and chopped apples then mix well. Sift dry ingredients
together. Slowly add dry indregients. When well blended, fold in
dried cherries and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 350° F for 50 minutes. Let cool and serve.
